These works are inspired by a girl in my dream.
One day, when I woke up, I had a strong impression of a girl I saw in my dream. I searched my memory and tried to remember the girl, but I couldn’t find her. I felt this was something special from the subconscious mind and I wanted to construct a narrative from that dream world.
The girls in my work as if live in a parallel world; acting as a mediator between life and death, and between what's real and unreal. And they are existence as a medium to communicate between two worlds before getting their first period.
I want to metaphorically express these aspects of femininity of young girls by using female images and mythical symbols.
